A good Leader in Sarfarosh

I was watching this Bollywood movie-Sarfarosh starring Amir Khan for the 16th time since the movie was released. This is one of the few Amir's movie that I like(i am a die-hard SRK fan) & can watch a hundread times over.....
I noticed there were several things that one could learn on how to be an effective leader in your day-to-day life. The lead actor is shown as an Indian Police Services(IPS) officer. He is shown to be leading his men with courage & expects the same kind of sincerity & dedication as he himself possesses. He shares his vision with his subordinates, shares their sorrows and most importantly his success. He has got an eye to identify the people who will make a difference when it matters most and an unique motivational capability. He neither gives up easily nor allows others around him to do so, and when chips are down he is wise enough to just stick around.....
He understands people's psyche & thus able to think ahead of others(I guess this is what some refers to as "vision"). He is able to differentiate between personal & professional life(& enjoy both at the same time).....
These and several other qualities(due to paucity of time, not space), which are not so evident and sometimes not considered necessary, are the distinguishing features of a good leader.............
P.S.-Curious people please watch the movie if you haven't.

A novice to blogging

just got bitten by this bug of blogging. so let me introduce myself to blogging community. After spending some 21 years flitting from one place to another,I am currently confined to the premise of an Indian B-school where supposedly management is taught. I have been in the capital of India for whole of my life & look for a change now. About my interests, from regular stuff like cricket to movies I have a new found love in Sudoku. About my goals-N/A. That's all for now but I promise to be back.......soon
